Zulhijjah is the best time to renew the heart. Not just waiting for the sacrificial rites, but sacrificing bad attitude such as ego, envy, showing-off, revenge, and excessive love of the world. With the reflection, Zulhijjah acts as a space to cleanse the heart so that the piety that is built truly brings the individual closer to Allah. The matter was among those shared in the Tazkirah or talk in conjunction with the 228th Munajat Night of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 9th May night.

The talk titled “Muhasabah Menjelang Zulhijjah: Dari Taqwa Menuju Taqarrub" was delivered by Awang Hezqyl bin Haji Hambali, a certified Da'ie from Religious Council of Brunei Darussalam. The Munajat was enlivened with the participation of takmir committee members, youth and congregants from various mosques namely Kampung Sungai Hanching Mosque, Kampung Salambigar Mosque, Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque, Kampung Sungai Akar; RPN Kampung Lambak Kanan Mosque and Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampung Manggis Madang.
